I could write an epilogue if you hate the introduction.

Looks like it's time for me to shine here! From personal experience, I know that some people want to get to know who's behind all the websites. Originally, I contemplated having an entire site somewhere else about this but decided it was a bit too much. It probably would have come off either abhorrently egotistical or disgustingly self-effacing. Either end of the spectrum wasn't so appealing to me. This won't be too detailed. I had planned this to be entirely image-oriented, but was turned off by the idea of spending hours in Photoshop just for this section.

Smell: the wafting essence of newly baked goods, the fresh smell of a morning during the early days of winter, coconut lime verbena to remember summer in New York, jasmine flowers, the inexplicable personal scent that welcomes me when I open the door to home

Taste: just the right balance of bitter and sweet of a hard chocolate bar, the tingling hotness of spicy ethnic foods, green tea ice cream during any season, spicy chicken sandwiches off of particular dollar menus, the lovely tart flavor of limeade (not lemonade), coffee-flavored hard candies, my father's home-cooked meals, mints over gum particularly because I don't like the smacking sound

Sight: black and white photography, Fred and Ginger movies, reading my friends' blogs, handwritten letters suited with decorative stationery, neutral and earthy colors with the occasional splash of red, movies I know won't deliver happy endings, gifts made by hand, Japanese prints especially when added to functional things, smiles on the faces of people I love, sitcoms that can tickle my funny bone, visitors who stay over on weekends, poorly executed biopics (don't ask), random text messages of endearment

Hearing: simple piano melodies, tunes of various languages, rain pattering against windows when days aren't humid, uproarious laughter in cheer, noise at a moderate level with more preference to silence, weak puns delivered with confidence

Touch: hardwood floors, someone stroking their fingers through my hair, warm embraces, a finished load of laundry right from the dryer, a woobie that I sleep with (which seems unhealthy for my age, but who are you to judge?)

Thinking: friendships, personal misdirection, intrapersonal priorities, 30% remembering the past, 60% living in the present, 10% thinking for the future, 100% fretting over the previous three
